This is a contract for the supply and installation of an access culvert on the Airport 1 Municipal Drain at #974 McNab Road, in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, removing and disposing of an existing 3.3m W x 1.8m H multi plate CSP arch culvert, carefully removing and setting aside an existing cut stone headwall and wrought iron guardrail, supplying and installing a new polymer coated culvert, placing riprap and geotextile fabric if required, waterway protection, dewatering, and providing water flow as required to prevent flooding of upstream land. The tender consists of two (2) options:

NOTE: Due to in-water work restrictions, no in-water work shall be carried out prior to November 15' 2020 and must be completed no later than February 26, 2021. The commencement of work date is contingent upon delivery of the specified materials. Bidders will confirm the shipping dates from their suppliers and will enter the dates they anticipate commencing and completing the work in the appropriate location on page FQ-3. |
